Valek and Company created a communication plan, brand identity, Web site, and collateral materials for this statework network of services for people living with HIV. Valek & Co. also launched the program with a statewide media relations campaign. We continue to manage the Illinois HIV Care Connect Web site, which is considered a global model for a bilingual (English-Spanish) HIV informational Web site. We have extended the visibility of this program via social media, and have implemented special projects relating to viral suppression, HIV and mental health, retention in HIV care, HIV treatment as prevention, social determinants of health, HIV and youth, speaking out against HIV stigma, HIV innovation in Illinois, HIV and aging, and HIV co-morbidities.
